How to Use Google Cloud Storage

This scenario-based eLearning was developed in Storyline for anyone looking to host Storyline files. I am frequently asked by teachers pivoting to instructional design how to use Google Cloud Storage, and  I thought this training would be useful since there are many resources for AWS storage but few for Google Cloud. Additionally, this is meant to showcase step-by-step technical training I have built for my company on our EMR (Electronic Medical Record) in terms of the skills to create the training in the authoring tool and walk users through step-by-step. I cannot showcase those pieces because they are proprietary.

  • Audience: Anyone looking to upload a Storyline web file to their portfolio, but primarily individuals pivoting to instructional design and building a portfolio for the first time.

  • Responsibilities: Project Management, Needs Analysis, Instructional Design, Storyboarding,  eLearning Design, (Preview), Implementation for User Feedback, and Evaluation of User Feedback Data

  • Tools Used: Articulate Storyline, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint, SnagIt, and Audacity

  • Date Completed: August 26, 2022

The Linear Storyline is the "standard" version of the training meant to walk learners step-by-step through the upload process. However, this project was designed as a cluster of learning touchpoints to meet the needs of a variety of learners. See other options below:
